The car door speakers are one of the most important components of the stereo sound system of your automobile.  You should upgrade them first and foremost.

They are the very first thing that we would recommend you upgrade.  In fact, given their location, they can have a huge impact on the success of the project.

Changing your speakers can, sometimes, be all you need to experience an immediate and noticeable difference.

I should add that changing your speakers, specifically your door speakers, is the single most cost-effective way to improve the quality of your listening experience.

The only downside of upgrading your car door speakers is the amount of money that goes into these speakers- if you want a really good set of speakers then you have to be prepared to spend a lot of money to get them.

There are several types of speakers that come with cars today, but most of them are small and are not capable of reproducing strong bass sounds. The general rule of thumb is that the larger the speaker, the deeper the bass is going to be.

The objective of this article is to provide a closer look at five door speakers that I believe are the best when it comes to bass delivery.

Pioneer TS-A1676R

In order to make sure the speaker is as safe as possible, it is constructed with a multilayered mica cone surrounded by an elastic surround.

There is a mid-range speaker in this product that’s 5/8” in diameter and a tweeter that’s 3/8” in diameter.

This device, which comes with a high sensitivity rating of 90dB, helps to make sure that you can keep the volume low and still listen to all the nuances of the music you like.

The frequency response of this model is very good, with a frequency range ranging from 32 Hz to 40 kHz, allowing for superb bass and midrange fidelity.

To make your bass sound even better, you might consider upgrading your head unit or installing a subwoofer. The TS-A1676 speakers come with the grilles, wires, and screws needed for installation. Also included is a one-year warranty.

BOSS Audio Systems Car Speakers – Best Value

You can’t go wrong with a pair of BOSS Audio Systems CH6230’s if you’re buying a new set of car door speakers.

If you’re looking for the ultimate value, then these are for you. Even though the sound quality may not be as good as the JBL speakers above, these are undoubtedly the best car door speakers if you are concerned with the price.

These wonderful three-way speakers are 6.5 inches in diameter, can handle 150 Watts of RMS power (peak), produce a lot of sound at about 90 Db, and have a frequency response range of 100 to 18,000 Hz.

As a result, these value-for-money speakers aren’t slouches when it comes to performance when compared to their competitive prices.

It is important to note that the BOSS Audio Systems CH6530 speakers produce a nice, crisp and clear sound, which can be attributed to the fact that the speaker contains three separate elements, thus ensuring superior high and mid-tones as well as crisp bass.

In terms of build quality, you can expect that these will be of premium quality, but at a fraction of the cost of a pair of JBL GTO629 earbuds, that shouldn’t be a surprise.

Rockford Fosgate R165X3

This is another three-way, full-range speaker from Rockford Fosgate that is incredibly inexpensive, yet has a ton of power and performance.

This 6.5-inch model has a strong woofer with a plastic surround that ensures an appropriate high-frequency response as well as powerful bass and drums.

Moreover, it also features a 1/2-inch silk tweeter for a more accurate reproduction of sound, as well as a piezo super tweeter for higher fidelity.

In terms of frequency range, this speaker supports the standard range of frequencies between 52 Hz for bass and 20 kHz for treble.

Despite the fact that the bass reproduction is surprisingly strong, you may need to use an amp and a subwoofer for it to perform at its best. On the plus side, it also has a high sensitivity rating of 91 dB, so it has a big advantage.

Despite its small size, the R165X3 is able to handle a continuous power of 45W, and can handle a peak output power of up to 90W.

In addition to this, the speaker is also protected from any damage that might occur by using a grille guard. As part of the package, you will receive a complete mounting kit and a warranty of one year.

Kenwood 2-Way Sport Series Car Audio Door Coaxial Speakers

It is no surprise that the KFC-1666S 2-way speakers from Kenwood are among the most popular and least expensive 6.5-inch speakers on the market today.

A good full-range speaker, they are rated from 40-22,000 Hz, and have a 1 inch dome tweeter that provides lovely clean mid and high tones, along with a polypropylene woofer with treated cloth surrounds that deliver deep, substantial lows.

Although they are able to handle 30 watts of power RMS and are an excellent speaker, they are not able to match the performance of the BOSS Audio Systems CH6230.

If you’re simply looking for a way to upgrade your old factory speakers without spending too much money or having to do anything more to them, then these may be a good option for you.

Pyle PL63BL

Pyle’s PL63BL car speakers might be a good choice if you’re in the market for an inexpensive, entry-level pair of speakers.

There are three speakers in this model, one of which features a built-in woofer that delivers a bigger bass response.

With a blue polyurethane injection cone, it sports an interesting design that ensures a great deal of strength without adding any further weight to the machine.

In terms of the size of the speaker, it measures 6.5 inches in diameter. The speaker consists of a one-inch voice coil, a one-inch dome midrange driver, and a 3/4-inch treble tweeter for high frequencies.

A speaker uses frequencies ranging from 90 Hz to 20 kHz, which corresponds to the standard audio range of 90 Hz to 20 kHz.

The root mean square (RMS) of the peak output power of a single speaker is 30W, and a root mean square (RMS) of the root mean square is 60W.

A set of two speakers will be included in the packaging, along with all the cables and hardware you will need to install them. As well as the two speakers, there is a one-year warranty included with the entire package.
