how long do jeep Cherokee engines last?
how long do jeep Cherokee limited last?
It is my pleasure to welcome you all to my blog. The 2016 Jeep Cherokee Latitude I purchased about 2 years ago had about 40k miles on it when I purchased it. In the two years since I purchased it, I’ve put about 10k miles on it and it’s still running great.
So, my question is, how long will the vehicle last? It’s now after I have already purchased the transmission that I have heard the horror stories about it. It would have been better if I had done my homework in advance, but I really do like this vehicle.
As far as I can remember the only time it really hurt me was when it shut off in the middle of traffic while I was at a red light. The only time I did that was once and since then I haven’t done it again.
The car is taken really good care of and I get the oil changed before I really have to but I was wondering how long you all are going to think it will last. Please let me know how long you think it is going to last. I would appreciate it very much.
It would be helpful if you could let us know which version of KL you have, as well as what engine you are using when you post here. Having this information helps us to help you. It is also possible to create an avatar that carries the same information along with your signature.
It is a four-wheel drive car with a 2.4l multi air 4 cylinder engine and it has four wheels. Due to some unfortunate circumstances, I am unable to research the vehicle’s history.
I believe that it was the loose battery cable that caused the computer to shut off. The computer has not shut off since I tightened the battery cable.
In truth, the OP’s question does not have a reasonable answer. The problem with this is that he does not know what the previous owner did with it, so he has no idea if there was any damage done. It is very important how he drives it, highway miles are much easier to achieve than city miles.
In view of the fact that that engine has a history of consuming oil, it is possible that previous owners may have let it run dry. A search on Car Fax may provide some clarification. Regardless, I do hope that it will last at least 120,000 miles for his sake, it may well do that.
